Accelerace Climbing
Team Accelerace has a variety of climbers and expeditionary types amongst its ranks. Learn a bit more about their climbing exploits below:
Tom
His increasingly skinny nature, textbook mountain-hair skills (and beard-growing abilities), and proficiency with gas camping stoves make Tom naturally disposed to spending prolonged periods in the mountains. He also knows lots of useful knots. Tom likes:
Bonehill - Chamonix - Fontainebleau - Greenland - India - Pen y Pass
Jim
He may be ancient, but with great age comes great wisdom - and Jim's wisdom is only matched by his enthusiasm for spending as much time not indoors as possible. His stature also suits climbing - as does his propensity for highly visible mountain clothing. Jim likes:
Chamonix - Greenland - Pen y Pass - Peru - Southern Alps
Ross
Ross likes bouldering most of all. Rated by some as the most powerful short-distance boulderer of his generation (at least in his school yeargroup), and by others as a bit of a prat, Ross likes nothing more than stringing together a whole 6 moves on a stunted bit of rock in a forest or on a moor. Ross also, when he absolutely can't avoid it, likes climbing mountains.
Andorra - Bonehill - Chudleigh - Chamonix - Fontainebleau - Pen y Pass
Chris
Chris likes most forms of climbing - but principally mountains - the smaller and more technical the rock you find him on, the more likely he's going to be complaining about loose shoes, or polished rock, or the fact that proportionately he's able to get a lot less of him to grip the rock than smaller climbing partners. Or that his arms hurt.
