Hugely popular in 2009, Runners came up against snow, rain, sunshine... everything the Moor could throw at them. Fear not, it will be back, but with a new route, new terrain and a new distance.

2009 - Sunday 18th January: Congratulations to everybody who ran on Sunday. In spite of the horrific weather conditions on Saturday, we only had one no-show, and several hardy (or crazy) people even came down to enter on the day.
We'll admit to being a tad anxious when, firstly, our registration tent almost succeeded in doing a runner in the wind and, secondly, when the blizzard set in with half an hour to go. But, as if to prove that the weather on Dartmoor is amongst the most unpredictable places in the UK, as quickly as the weather set in, it cleared again to leave bright blue sky.
