A schoolboy running prodigy, the junior national running circuit breathed a collective sigh of relief when Ed discovered the delights of rugby (union, then league) and temporarily hung up his competitive running shoes. Despite great success with the oval ball, he recently revealed a desire to 'get back into real training' and is picking up (almost) where he left off. Although heavier than he used to be (he's not fat, it's rugby bulk), and having suffered a nasty ankle breaking, Ed will be rolling back the years this season at a selection of international events.
