Accelerace Extreme Tri Briefing Notes

- Registration and T1 will open at 7am and will be held in the "Room Above the Bowling Green" on the seafront at Teignmouth. It is next to T1 and opposite the pier - it will be signposted.
- Race briefing will be at 8am and will be held in the same room as registration. If the weather looks favourable then the briefing will be on the beach.
- Race start will be at 9am on the beach
- At registration you will be given the following
Swim cap, transition bags and race numbers
- The transition bags are labeled and should be used as follows:
Bag 1 - "T2" - everything you want for the run (food, trainers, gels, change of clothes etc)
Bag 2 - "WC (warm clothing) Finish" - This is for any warm clothes that you may want to put on at the finish and for after the race
Bag 3 - "Swim" - For all your wet swim gear
There will be a special marshalled area marked out at T1 for you to place these bags. They will then be taken on ahead in a van and laid out at T2 and then the finish so that everything you have used in the race will then be available at the River Dart Country Park. When you get to the finish your three bags will be laid out ready for you to collect, along with your bike.
- Race numbers will be displayed using race belts (to eliminate the faff of safety pins). If you don't have one you can either borrow one from us for the race, or they will also be available to buy at registration for £6.
- Drinks will be available on the bike route at approximately 50km, at the entrance to the Miniature Pony Centre, after Moretonhampstead (see bike route)
- Drinks will be available on the run route at approximately 4 miles and again at 10 miles (at Newbridge). There are toilets and plenty of parking for supporters (see run route).
- Aid stations will provide water, energy drink and something solid (probably banana and malt loaf). For Goodness Shakes! will be available at the finish.
- Champagne will be given to the first woman and man across the finish line. Everyone will receive a t-shirt at the River Dart Country Park.
