Know someone who is racing? Got your place and fancy some "friendly" banter with the other competitors? Exchange training tips or perhaps arrange some outings. Apologies for not having any fancy forum system, but this should be a great way to build some pre-race cameraderie.

Should probably have posted this before now, but we're aiming to get up there Thursday afternoon/eve to set up camp somewhere hopefully close to the start! Also planning to dip the toes in the loch on Friday - so look out for us! Am sole support driver, but will offer whatever help I can if we're near you on the run :o)

I hope the event management and other nine competitors are still up for
this as the training is knackering for an old man like me.

Interested to know when others are getting up there for this.   My plan
is Friday lunchtime - with the aim of a quick swim on the Friday.  

I know mobile reception is patchy - does anyone know where they tend to work along the route - particularly around Loch Lochy?

Also - anyone able to offer any shared support later on in the race
would be appreciated eg from 10pm onwards.
